Who we are
Lanewise Auto is operated by MetricLink Labs LLC, based in Wilmington, Delaware. We help US drivers understand car insurance so they can make better decisions about their own coverage, whether that means knowing which limits to carry, what an SR-22 actually requires, or how to switch insurers without a gap.
What we do
We provide guidance on coverage, deductibles, limits, state requirements, renewals, claims, and life events, with no fee. Tell us your state and what you want help with, and we'll follow up by email or phone. If you separately opt in, Lanewise Auto Alerts can also text you: you choose updates about your request, car insurance tips, both, or neither.
Alongside that, we publish plain-English guides and a coverage calculator, both built on primary sources: state insurance departments, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, the Insurance Information Institute, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and insurer and regulator publications.
What we don't do
Lanewise Auto provides general car insurance guidance. We don't sell, underwrite, or bind insurance, and the decisions, and any purchase, stay with you and your insurer. Independent of insurers and agents. For decisions about your own policy, check with your insurer.
We don't guarantee savings, a particular premium, or any outcome for your policy. Our information is general education, not legal, financial, or insurance advice.
How the service is funded
There is no fee for our guidance and nothing to buy. Lanewise Auto is funded by its operator, MetricLink Labs LLC, as an educational program. We are independent of insurers and agents, our text messages promote only Lanewise Auto's own guidance and content, and we never sell your personal information. You stay in control of your own insurance decisions.
Your consent stays yours
We don't sell personal information, and mobile information and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. You decide whether to sign up for Lanewise Auto Alerts: you choose updates about your request, car insurance tips, both, or neither, and you can opt out of both by replying STOP at any time.
